What could AT&T be updating? Could it just be a system’s update for MMS, or are they testing tethering?
My sources indicate that AT&T will be launching tethering before 2009 is over! They are “tweaking the network for massive overload of data use” says my tipster.

Nope. T-Mobile uses a different signal. You are stuck with 2G speeds.
