I am so excited, if true. Apparently, a few hours ago, a new application called blackra1nb0w was announced that would finally allow for native video recording, accessibility, and Jibbler Voice-Control on all iPhone 3G and iPhone 2G models!
Now, I haven’t stopped working on this project, but I hit a brick wall with Voice-Control as it is in the ARM7 Architecture and the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 2G can’t read or use anything above the ARM6 Architecture.
Well, if true, these guys may have had to recreate the Voice-Control ROM from the ground up.
This is still in alpha so some stuff may not work right, but they have promised to have fixes.
I will be sharing my info with them as well so that they may release this faster.
Now, if you want to be a tester, send them an e-mail at info@iphonehacks.it and maybe they’ll accept you.
I will definitely keep you all informed as this story develops, stay tuned…

now if only they changed the language pack…
Looks freaking sweet… Now my iPhone is good as a 3gs
If 2g or 3g can be mod like that. How can you mod the 3gs their must be something ? Or did the 3gs hit the end of the rope
The iPhone 3G S has 100% of the capabilities iPhone OS 3.x.x can provide. That’s it. We’re just trying to make thr iPhone 2G & 3G catch up.
tooo bad 3.x.x hasnt provided access to all of the 3GS’ device features yet
What you mean?
nice!!
