Hey everyone. Well, as you may know, I have been on and off from here due to T-Mobile’s stupid idea to kill off any non-Sidekick phones from their Prepaid Sidekick Plan.

In a joint effort between some of our readers and some readers on other external websites, as well as myself, we had a temporary solution utilizing a VPN that served as a proxy for us iPhone users.

It worked! For a while that is. Until T-Mobile once again killed off our efforts and hard work on Friday at around 2pm of last week.

Well, enough is enough. I am calling upon all of you, I am calling upon the nation’s T-Mobile users. Today I am announcing a new project that will require assistance and cooperation from all of you.

This project will be called “p1nksn0w”. Pink due to T-Mobile’s pink logo and that’s their official color.

I am calling upon all of you who know someone with T-Mobile and especially on all of you who have T-Mobile’s prepaid (or post paid) Sidekick Plan.

I need those of you who have an actual Sidekick phone on T-Mobile’s prepaid or post paid Sidekick plan. We need to get some information from your phones.

It is in many people’s opinions that T-Mobile’s Sidekick’s are using a proxy. If we can obtain that proxy and the port that they are using, we can easily implement this into an easy to install cydia package or something of that sort and help everyone here in the U.S.!

I also need all of those who have found or created a proxy and port that works with T-Mobile’s Sidekick plan.

We cannot do this alone, this is a joint effort. All of you who would like to help (even if you do not have T-Mobile or even an iPhone) please say so.

We can do this guys. Please spread the word about this. Post a link to this article on every website you can think of. This has to reach as many people as possible in as little time as possible.

There are many advantages that out way the disadvantages of jailbreaking you iPhone. Below is a list of 10 reasons to jailbreak your iPhone.

iRealQuickSMS -The most useful app of all that Apple definitely needs to implement into their next firmware.  Lets you reply to a text within an application.  This is a huge time saver.

Backgrounder -The closest thing we have to multitasking.  Lets you run applications in the background.  Perfect for music apps like Pandora and iHeartRadio.

Notifier -Notifications for Email, SMS, MMS, and Missed Calls on the taskbar. Viewable from the lock screen, so you do not have to slide to unlock to see if you have email, text, or a missed call.

SBSettings -Offers the quickest way to access important settings such as turning on and off 3G, Wifi, Edge, Bluetooth, etc.  it is also a hand memory manager.  You can kill processes and free up memory with a touch of a button.

Custom CSS Mail Signatures -Create a lot nicer mail signatures than the default Set from my iPhone.

ActivateMMS2G -Enables MMS on the first iPhone (iPhone 2G).

Winterboard and Themes -Fully customize the look of your iPhone with custom icons and backgrounds.

3G Unrestrictor -Tricks your iPhone into thinking that it is on a wifi network so you can use 3G or edge without restrictions.  This lets you use Skype over 3G and also download files larger than 10MB on the AppStore.

OpenSSH -Full file system access lets you manage all of the files on your iPhone using a simple application like Transmit (mac) or Winscp (windows).

Unapproved AppStore Apps -Jailbreaking your iPhone gives you access to Cydia, an AppStore alternative.  All the apps that Apple does not allow into the AppStore have the ability to be released in Cydia.  With the recent rejection of Google Voice apps from Apple’s official AppStore, Cydia gives jailbroken iPhone users a chance to use those Apps.  GVMobile was recently released in Cydia because of this very reason.  They did not want all of their hard work go to waste.

All of these applications can be found on Cydia.  Cydia is added by default when you jailbreak your iPhone.  Hopefully we will see some of these features implemented by Apple in an updated firmware.  Some of these we will never see and this is why jailbreaking your iPhone is worth it even though Apple does not allow it.  If you bring your jailbroken iPhone into the Apple Store, Apple will void your warranty.  Since a restore in iTunes completely eliminates the jailbreak, make sure you do a full restore before you bring your iPhone into the Apple Store.

Hey everyone! This is great news. My sources can confirm that iPhone OS 3.0.1 does not update your baseband or even make it necessary for a new version of redsn0w! So, this is actually some refreshing news. This is the first time that Apple has released firmware for the sole purpose of “fixing bugs” and not killing an unlock or a jailbreak for us iPhone 3G users! Great news for all! This gives you a couple of months to react and buy an iPhone 3G S! Unlock it, and forever jailbreak it! I may be doing this as well if I sell my iPhone 3G in the near future. So, all you have to do, is hook your iPhone up to iTunes on your Mac/PC, and hit “check for updates”, then let it download and install! Afterwards, just go into redsn0w, and choose an iPhone OS 3.0 ipsw (not the 3.0.1 ipsw) and run it. Apple has not changed a thing other than their messages application! (I would make sure to have iTunes 8.2 as that’s still tethering/jailbreak friendly.) Then enjoy!

Hey everyone, its not often that we get a very important news bit before it happens. Well, O2 has just confirmed that Apple is releasing a software update “this weekend” (most likely a 3.0.1 update, 3.1 should be out by September)! Now, this is supposed to fix the sms bug, (I feel sorry for Windows Mobile/Android Users, lol, NOT!)

Now, I want to issue the usual warnings:

• Don’t update to 3.0.1 (or whatever they will call it)

• Wait for a new Pwnage Tool/redsn0w as if you update with stock firmware, Apple will most likely update your baseband! I will announce anything new.

So there you go guys! A fix is on the way and a new baseband is on the way, lol.

Again, don’t install it on your iPhone if you are unlocked or jailbroken until a new tool has been released.

Guys, this is very important and everyone should read this immediately!

The iPhone’s Messages app apparently has had a killer SMS flaw on it, now this has existed for a couple months now, well Apple hasn’t done anything about it. The bug still exists in the latest 3.1 beta.

Well, that bug has been exploited by malicious hackers, hackers that give us good hackers a bad name.

All iPhones are vulnerable!

If you get a text message with just a square in it, you have been hijacked. Now, when this bug is exploited, they can take complete control of your iPhone. They can listen in by using the mic, take pics, take video, send stuff using email or sms, it just like them using veency, but from any part of the world.

The only solution is to turn your phone off, or restore and put it into dfu mode and “set up as new phone”.

NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER TO JUST ANYONE ON THE INTERNET! THERE ARE BAD PEOPLE OUT THERE!!!
