Hey everyone! Well, today, we are extremely excited to announce that we will be covering the Apple iPad launch live!

Now, we will definitely have pictures for you all of everything that’s going on outside at an Apple Store, but that’s not why I’m excited for Saturday!

I’m excited because our very own Brandon Etheredge is going to be on the streets and will be interviewing people and (if all goes well on the website side) we will have a 100% live video feed for you guys of all of the madness that is an major Apple product launch!

Brandon will be (hopfully) wearing the first Limited Edition iPhone (LEIMobile.com / HMPMobile.com) T-Shirt and outfit that we are designing, as well as his press badge so you know he’s press so you don’t hit him for asking for an interview.

Brandon is in our Texas market, so he will be at the Barton Creek Apple Store in Austin, Texas Saturday, April 3, 2010 @ 8am (Central Standard Time) for the 9am launch of the iPad!

Oh god, here we go. Another very intelligent move by an Apple Store employee. It seems as though Apple’s dislike for jailbreakers goes down the buisness ladder, even to some of their employees.

It seems as though a guy was bored and he walked into his neighborhood Apple Store. Innocently enough, he decided to talk to the Apple Store employees.

Then, he showed one of the employees his iPod touch. It just so happened to have been a jailbroken iPod touch. Now, instead of the employee saying “okay, that’s cool”, he decides to go to his manager.

What does this manager do? He calls in a mall cop. He tells the mall cop to take the “illegal” iPod touch from the boy. Long story short, the mall cop tells the Apple Store manager “fu@# you, you are wasting my time with this sh*+”

So there you go, another intelligent move from your neighborhood Apple Store. Now, I’ve shown my jailbroken iPhone/iPod touch to the employees, they haven’t ever said anything or threatened to do anything. Some of the employees even have jailbroken/unlocked devices of their own!

Now, I understand them getting mad if you jailbreak their iPhones/iPod touch (like I used to do because it was funny to see them scramble and restore them all) but this was his device. They had no cause for any sort of action.

This just shows you that Apple’s hatred of jailbreaking isn’t shared by everyone, but on those who it is shared by, they tend to over react…

UPDATE: Our reader Ben discovered something I had over looked. It seems as though he is right. There is in fact a major feature next to the head piece.

There is a circle right next to it. As of now, there is nothing that noticable on our iPhone 2G – iPhone 3G S or even iPod touch. Which leads me to assume that we will see video on the iPhone 4G, and video calls.

Now, in the iPhone 3.2 SDK, there are references to a front facing camera and an iChat like interface. So this would fuel the fire a little more.

Hey guys, we have a leaked image of the iPhone 4G prototype! Now, we can’t really see anything of the OS itself. It’s only the outside of the iPhone, but the it’s not activated. As you can clearly see, it’s on top of that iPad. If you recall that image that was leaked about 8 hours before the event, the iPad was bolted down as well.

Now, we can see that it has a stupid looking plastic bezel. Now, I think Apple should bring back the iPhone 2G’s metal back, but as you know, the 3G antenna can’t transmit anything through metal. Now, just a crazy idea, why don’t they just wrap the antenna under the bezel, then bring the metal back!
