So here we go guys, as we reported about a year ago now, Apple was in talks to bring the iPhone to RadioShack, or now, stupidly known as “The Shack”. Well, the deal has gone through. So you will now be able to buy an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3G S at your local RadioShack store next month in Dallas-Fort Worth and New York City and everywhere else here in the US by Q3 2010!
I would suggest buying an iPhone now! Why? Because Apple will update both the baseband and possibly the bootrom on the next batch of iPhones with the next version of the iPhone OS!

Actually, Radio Shack is better than Best Buy for variety in hard-to-find parts (when you don’t want to buy stuff on-line and wait for it to arrive). Like I recently bought a couple of LEDs from Fry’s. If I didn’t have a Fry’s in my town, I’d probably have tried Radio Shack.
radioshack is good if youre building your electronics.. best buy is good if you got built things you gotta get you know
