LEAK: iPhone 4th Gen, iPod touch 2.5G, “iProd” (1st Gen & Prototype), “iFPGA”, and “unknownhardware” Still Confirmed!

Well guys, I was bored and I just found vendor IDs for some new (and unannounced) products inside of iPhone OS 3.1.2!

Yes, I have exposed this many times in the past, but I never had a vendor ID or this new mysterious “iPod2,2″.

Well, the one that really took me out of it was “iPod2,2″. I hadn’t previously encountered this model number until now. Also, I found 2 more weird models “iFPGA” and “unknownHardware” (yet it has a vendor ID!)

Now, what can we make of this? Apple is very hard at work and is possibly 2 generations of products ahead of what it’s revealed! iPhone3,1 (I assume) will be released next summer, iPod touch 2,2 (I assume) is the camera iPod touch that was supposed to be released.

The ever mysterious “iProd” may be the Apple tablet. The “iFPGA” is totally unknown to me. Something in the works still. As for the “unknowndevice” I have no clue. I see no possible reason to even include that and give it a vendor id unless its a product that is just now being worked on by their engineers.

So there you go guys. I was just telling my friend, why doesn’t Apple strip off all internal development stuff from the iPhone OS before release? I’m starting to think that they expect us to find these things to fuel the speculation.

Doesn’t really matter. We get leaked images, parts, and drivers months before any announcement or release. Same with the iPhone 3G, everyone knew that was going to be announced about 10 months before it was. Same went for the iPhone 3G S.

Apple, oh Apple. When will you learn that there are no more secrets that you can keep from us…

Here’s what I found inside of my iPhone:
