PRESS RELEASE: Introducing LEI Mobile, For iPad

February 26th, 2010 by Alan Vazquez · 2 Comments

h

Well everyone, continuing on the trend that we have done today of announcing some new products, I would like to introduce, LEI Mobile (For iPad). Now, this app will be specifically for the Apple iPad.

It sports a new UI with a ton of room to browse the page and a ton of room to add a bunch of great services.

Now look, we are not going to release this yet, for one, the iPad has not been officially launched yet. As well as the fact that the application has not been completed yet. It is still in beta. Now, we decided to announce it today so that if you were planning on purchasing an Apple iPad. you know that we are taking the initiative and we are going to be developing for the iPad.

We will be porting all of our iPhone applications over to the iPad in due time. I believe the iPad to be an extremely well thought out product and we can all expect to see some great stuff to be created for the iPad.

So there you go, above is a screenshot of our latest beta of LEI Mobile (For iPad). We hope that you will all support our iPad applications just as well as our iPhone applications in the near future.

PRESS RELEASE: Introducing HackMyPad.com (HMP Mobile)

February 26th, 2010 by Alan Vazquez · No Comments

Well well everyone. It’s been 3 years since we first launched LimitedEditioniPhone.com. That was 3 years ago, shortly before Apple launched the iPhone back in 2007. We started off as nothing. We had no audience, no nothing.

So to start from 0 to being able to have such an amazing audience here at LEI is really something special. As well as having great success in the applications buisness. I mean, to me, controlling 21.6% of an entire market is a huge accomplishment if you ask me.

Well, we’re going to continue that success. We are introducing a brand new website. A new chapter in the amazing story that we have been able to create these past 3 years.

We would like to officially announce HackMyPad.com! Now, you may now recognize this site as Hack My Pad or HMP Mobile. We are going to adopt both names and go forward into 2010.

So what is Hack My Pad (HMP Mobile)? Simple, it’s everything that Limited Edition iPhone (LEI Mobile) is, however, it will be dedicated solely to all things iPad. We are going to have a dedicated iPad website due to the sheer fact that the iPhone and the iPad are two different beasts and we want to maintain Limited Edition iPhone for all things Apple and the iPhone/iPod touch.

So how are you going to access this new site and what does it mean for Limited Edition iPhone (LEI Mobile)? Well, simple. If you are on your desktop or laptop, you can access us by going to HackMyPad.com in your web browser. (You can do this in MobileSafari as well).

The desktop/laptop version sports a brand new layout and a new user interface. It’s really really nice. It’s a beautiful new layout that really brings the user into the future. It’s really nice. Everything is very easily accessible and the articles are really a treat to read.

Or, if you have an iPhone or iPod touch, you can simply download LEI Mobile and we are going to be building Hack My Pad support right into LEI Mobile v4.0. This way, you will only need to have 1 application for 2 major websites.

So when are we going to be launching HackMyPad.com (HMP Mobile) to the world? We’ve given this some thought and we have decided. You can access the website starting today!

We have been testing the website for a while now and we even typed up some articles a couple weeks ago to start you all off and get you used to the new website and demonstrate how it will all work.

So the first thing you should do is register for HackMyPad.com and start commenting and exploring the new website. (I would register with the same credentials as you have here at Limited Edition iPhone so that we all know you and we can continue on) We will be actively reporting on both Hack My Pad and Limited Edition iPhone. These sites will contain different content, so check them both often. :)

So that’s Hack My Pad (HMP Mobile). We are really excited by the way that all of this turned out, and we hope that you all support us by going to this new site and spreading the word to the world! We are absolutely sure that this is a fantastic move and we can’t wait for you all to join in on the fun!

PRESS RELEASE: Introducing The Hack My Pad Forum & Reopening The LEI Mobile Forum!

February 26th, 2010 by Alan Vazquez · No Comments

kkkkkk

Well everyone, today’s full of great announcements, but we are really excited about this one. We have been working on a new forum. It’s a part of HackMyPad. It is the new forum!

So what is so special about the Hack My Pad forum? It’s a place where you can ask questions about anything Apple or iPad related. It’s a place that you can communicate with each other as a community. You can help each other and even give us some tips on stories that you’ve heard and that we haven’t posted yet!

Now, even more exciting, I think. Is that today, we are announcing our plans and intentions to re open the Limited Edition iPhone forum! We had to shut it down a couple years ago due to some misconduct, but we are going to give it another shot.

The Hack My Pad Forum will be open for business starting today. You can register at HackMyPad.com/Forum today!

The Limited Edition iPhone (LEI Mobile) forum will be opened later this year. We are aiming for a “Late-March” launch of that forum.

Now, we have built a brand new form of viewing the forum. This time, it’s fully mobile compatible. Unlike the first forum we had, this one will be fully accessible and full featured on the iPhone and iPod touch.

We are building in support for both the HMP Mobile and the LEI Mobile forums into LEI Mobile v4.0. So stay tuned for that.

That’s Forums. We hope that you will jump right in and check out the forums and start contributing to the community!

Hello everyone. Let’s kick off this event by giving you some statistics on how we’ve been doing and what we’ve been up to since we last had any sort of press release.

Well, we have been working very hard behind the scenes these past few weeks. We have been creating some really great new services, products, and continuing to do what we do best, deliver the news that you all want to hear about. :)

Well, since we last spoke with you all, we would like to say that we have seen major growth on both our applications side and our web site side.

I am very excited to tell you all that LEI Mobile has passed the 50,000 download mile stone! We are extremely pleased with the massive growth rate of our first application that we introduced just 5 months ago. over 50,000 downloads from Cydia and RockApp in just 4 months?! That’s mind boggling to me. We now control the site-specific market in Cydia, by huge margins.

We control 21.6% of the market. We’ve gone up by about 11% marketshare since December 31, 2009. The next closest only controls 10.11% market share. We have doubled their market share in about 2 months. That’s insane to me.

We have also done exceptional with downloads of SocialMe, now, whether those downloads have generated the revenue that it should may be questionable, but we have an estimated 5,000 downloads of SocialMe since it’s launch about a month ago.

We can also report similar stats from LEI (for Dashboard) and s1lv3r as well.

So everyone, today’s announcements will ultimately change us forever. So stay tuned and keep clicking on those press releases!
