Sports Tap was designed specifically for the iPhone and is a pretty handy tool for a sports fan. It is still in developmental stages and is missing a few major sports that are coming soon. As it stands you can check MLB, NFL, and NCAA Football. NHL, NBA, and NCAA Basketball are the next sports to be added. You can check out standings, team stats, player stats, and get updated scores and data every minute. Currently their is no way to search for specific teams so you may have to do some digging to find the team you are looking for.

Sports Tap is still in development and should turn out to be a very useful application once they implement more features and sports.
