Well guys, here is a huge announcement from us here at Limited Edition iPhone! I have been extensively working with, and contacting, developers from around the world in order to give you guys a chance to win software that I believe you will all enjoy, for free!

Yes, well here are are again! Its review time! Now, I love great software, so I have looked throughout the App Store and I have hand picked some great software to review that I think you will all love as well.

Well, this time, its iTwitter’s turn. iTwitter is made by NibiruTech, LTD. Now, I love Twitter, and I can also see that most of you do as well. (judging by our personal & official Limited Edition iPhone Twitter accounts) So what better app than something that makes Twitter easy, right?

So I have been reviewing iTwitter for a few days now, and I love it! The feature that really got me interested was that it has push notification support for multiple twitter accounts!

This app is also very feature packed. Cool features include:

• Landscape Is Available In Every Part Of The App

• It Has Full Address Book Integration

• They Have A Full Browser Integrated In

• It Also Caches Your Tweets So The App Loads Very Quickly

Also, the app is very well written. It is very snappy and does exactly what it advertises. In my opinion (Alan) this is one of the best Twitter clients on iTunes. It’s available on the App Store for the low low price of 99 cents! Its well worth every penny!

I enjoyed using this app, and I hope you do as well. I would like to say thanks to Kevin Yang for hooking us up with iTwitter! Now, I encourage you all to buy it!

Apple has stated that they “might” fix this in a later seed. Basically, what happened, was that they killed backwards compatibility with anything between 1.0 – 3.0 beta 2! This is a big issue for anyone that has updated to iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3.

Apple has also stated that you cannot develop any applications with 3.0 beta 3 for 2.2.1 consumption. Like I said, big issue here. Almost all developers are on 3.0 right now, so this could get a little ugly.

No one is exactly sure what Apple changed to kill off all compatibility with 3.0 beta 2 and under, but I do have some theories. I believe Apple must have reflashed the bootloader or something in the boot sequence (or DFU) which killed off backwards compatibility.

There is a baseband update in the firmware, but I know this is not the cause. I know this because iPod touch users are also subject to this issue of incompatibility with anything 3.0 beta 2 or below. As you all may know, the iPod touch has no baseband (because it really doesn’t need one, because it doesn’t make calls over the cell network).

So I will keep you all informed on this. So if you are on iPhone OS 3.0 beta 2, I suggest downgrading and abandoning the 3.0 beta ship until they get this resolved.

Wow is all I can say. Apple is about to sell their 1 billionth application on the App Store.The countdown has begun. Just tap on the App Store application and look at the featured section. Currently they have sold 928,057,972 applications!

I checked just 1 hour ago and it was at 925 million applications. So in 1 hours time, they sold 3 million applications! That is incredible!

I will keep you all updated on this as time goes by. I’m assuming Steve Jobs will want to say that they have sold over 1 Billion applications at WWDC 2009!
