The boys over at iphonesimfree.com have updated their site with a FAQ. They have stated that they will be releasing their software to the public with in 48-72 hours. Engadget has proven that their software indeed works and will unlock your phone with ease. They still have not released any information about pricing, but you can expect it to be around $25-$50. The software will be installed onto your iPhone that has been un-jailed using Jail Break. Lets hope that their software does not get delayed like UniquePhones due to AT&T’s Lawyers.

It is official the iPhone has been unlocked using software. The iPhone was in fact unlocked within 48 hours. This is big news. If you did not know, I myself have wanted an iPhone ever since there was talk that Apple was going to release one. I am currently with T-mobile and will never accept AT&T’s horrible service in my area. I have been waiting patiently for the unlock to come out and now its official. The folks over at Engadget received a copy of the software and confirmed it is legit.

I am off to the Apple store this weekend and hopefully will be using an unlocked T-mobile iPhone by Monday. I have spoke with the people who have the unlocking software and will hopefully be able to sell it here on this site. As soon as I receive more information I will update this site.
