<p>Hey everyone, sorry for the lateness on this one but T-Mobile has retaliated and I can kiss data good bye for now. I managed to get on for a few minutes, but that is it for right now. So now onto the review of <a title="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=301400438&amp;mt=8" href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=301400438&amp;mt=8" target="_blank">ControlPad</a>.<span id="more-2548"></span><!--More--></p>
<p>Well, ControlPad is a very simple application to use, as was iLaunch. Basically it allows your iPhone to act as a trackpad for your Mac OS X Tiger/Leopard, Windows XP/Vista, or Linux Unbuntu enabled computer! This is done over Wi-Fi, no internet connection necessary, just make an Ad-HOC connection on your computer.</p>
<p>A really useful thing that they did was add step by step instructions for all of the operating systems I mentioned above! So just purchase, open the app, follow the simple instructions, and you can start using it as you feel fit.</p>
<p>This is useful for when you are either tired/lazy or in some cases incapacitated for whatever reason. It also gives you a familiar keyboard to use, and as we all know, texting is our thing, and I found that typing on my iPhone is faster than on a computer in some instances.</p>
<p>So check out <a title="Controlpad" href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=301400438&amp;mt=8" target="_blank">ControlPad</a>! Its available on the iTunes App Store for a low price of $2.99 ! This is a very useful app and I recommend it if you are lazy or need some way to type or use the track pad for whatever you feel the need to.</p>

<p>Yes everyone, you know what time it is, its time for another review by yours truly! This time, its iFlashReady&#8217;s turn. iFlashReady is by Imaging Luminary, LLC.</p>
<p>Basically, this application utilizes very complex HDR algorithms that they have developed (and then ported and optimized for the iPhone OS) in order to give you an effect which could be considered a &#8220;digital flash&#8221;. Its amazing, let me tell you more<!--More--></p>
<p>As we all know, the iPhone 3G&#8217;s camera isn&#8217;t great but it doesn&#8217;t suck for occasional pictures. We also know that Apple hasn&#8217;t gotten the basic idea of a built in flash. Now, they are even stupid, because this could easily be implemented using the Apple logo (already on the phone) to burst a flash of light (and you could light it up for night use via the touch screen&#8217;s own light).</p>
<p>Now, they have told me that on the iPhone, they have had to do somethings that they hadn&#8217;t done before such as HDR tonemapping algorithm with a regular jpeg source, which they stated this:</p>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;We have made tremendous amount of changes in our algorithm in order to be more effective with iPhone&#8221;</strong></em><strong></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_069431E2-37D8-4289-922C-73DC1B1D0F1A.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_069431E2-37D8-4289-922C-73DC1B1D0F1A.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Now, this app is amazing! OMG, this is so useful and it does exactly as advertised, create a digital flash by lighting up every pixel and it really an amazing outcome when applied to an image.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_58EB2EC0-B3D2-431A-B7F1-4FAA9452FF48.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_58EB2EC0-B3D2-431A-B7F1-4FAA9452FF48.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Its very user friendly as it uses a very simple UI (as seen above).</p>
<p>Now, I&#8217;m going to be honest, I really didn&#8217;t think this was going to work at all like it really did, but after I used it and I got an &#8220;under-the-hood&#8221; explanation on how everything works, I gotta tell you, I was/am blown away!</p>
<p>Now, you can light up any image you want (as long as its in your camera roll), I also purposely took some low light photos with my iPhone (and images I already had).</p>
<p>I also noticed that even during the day (like midday, when its supposed to be bright out) I had really dark photos. You&#8217;ll see what I mean&#8230;</p>
<p>So here you can see a picture of Best Buy (I&#8217;m at Home Depot&#8217;s parking, so it really is a bit far away):</p>
<p><em><strong>ORIGINAL:</strong></em><strong></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/l_1600_1200_41EB1F84-4B1E-4E26-8306-65F2FB68FB10.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/l_1600_1200_41EB1F84-4B1E-4E26-8306-65F2FB68FB10.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p><em><strong>After iFlashReady:</strong></em><strong></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/l_1600_1200_A10E2F92-5435-43B9-A87D-19EB4024B8B6.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/l_1600_1200_A10E2F92-5435-43B9-A87D-19EB4024B8B6.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>So there you go! You can totally see the difference. Here&#8217;s another example, this was a car that was in front of our car:</p>
<p><em><strong>ORIGINAL:</strong></em><strong></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/l_1600_1200_32010EF3-0DA2-416C-B38C-D52A32239C07.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/l_1600_1200_32010EF3-0DA2-416C-B38C-D52A32239C07.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p><em><strong>After iFlashReady:</strong></em><strong></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/l_1600_1200_B127FBD3-F1C3-42EC-B48F-A6D55818220B.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/l_1600_1200_B127FBD3-F1C3-42EC-B48F-A6D55818220B.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>This app is great! It does a really great job! This is one of my favorite applications! It earned a spot on my iPhone&#8217;s 2nd homescreen (where I have my favorites, I like to keep my 1st homescreen looking how Apple intended) due to its near perfect functionality.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_703330E7-8DAD-4658-84F5-90A8FC6ECB8A.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_703330E7-8DAD-4658-84F5-90A8FC6ECB8A.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Now, iFlashReady isn&#8217;t just limited to lighting up and sharpening images, it can also allow you to change their color scheme between &#8220;Full Color&#8221;, &#8220;Black &amp; White&#8221;, or &#8220;Sepia&#8221;.</p>
<p>I do have one small concern (that is easily implemented, I have already told them and hope that they will update their app with this,) its that it doesn&#8217;t have a built in camera pane to take pictures from within the application. This is something that I would think is pretty basic, but like I said, I told them and this is so easy to add in. (Well, maybe a little more difficult to have full 3G S support, damn you and your awesome cameras! )</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_0F910EA3-75B4-4794-8FB9-F1443A204866.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_0F910EA3-75B4-4794-8FB9-F1443A204866.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Other than that, this app is perfect.</p>
<p>iFlashReady is available for 99 cents on the App Store! It can be used with iPhone OS 2.x.x and iPhone OS 3.0 on the iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3G S. Check it out as soon as you can, because you will not regret buying this app at all!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_444B3110-85F6-4469-BA40-2084D8F8AFF0.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_444B3110-85F6-4469-BA40-2084D8F8AFF0.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Also, don&#8217;t forget to check out their Midas application for Mac OS X and Windows XP/Vista, Midas does the same exact thing iFlashReady does, except it is more powerful and its for a computer. If you buy iFlashReady, you can get a code to purchase Midas for only $4.99!</p>
<p><a title="http://iFlashReady.com" href="http://iFlashReady.com" target="_blank">http://iFlashReady.com</a></p>
<p>Special thanks to Bo Yuan for helping us out and letting us review iFlashReady!</p>
<p>So there you go guys! Stay tuned for some sweet announcements starting Monday @ midnight&#8230;</p>

<p>Yes, well here are are again! Its review time! Now, I love great software, so I have looked throughout the App Store and I have hand picked some great software to review that I think you will all love as well.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_CADF32AE-4C96-41E4-87AA-2538259BE8B6.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_CADF32AE-4C96-41E4-87AA-2538259BE8B6.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Well, this time, its iTwitter&#8217;s turn. iTwitter is made by NibiruTech, LTD. Now, I love Twitter, and I can also see that most of you do as well. (judging by our personal &amp; official Limited Edition iPhone Twitter accounts) So what better app than something that makes Twitter easy, right?</p>
<p>So I have been reviewing iTwitter for a few days now, and<!--More--> I love it! The feature that really got me interested was that it has push notification support for multiple twitter accounts!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_B5F25D35-428C-445F-8804-F558F8EB9ACD.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_B5F25D35-428C-445F-8804-F558F8EB9ACD.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>This app is also very feature packed. Cool features include:</p>
<p>• Landscape Is Available In Every Part Of The App</p>
<p>• It Has Full Address Book Integration</p>
<p>• They Have A Full Browser Integrated In</p>
<p>• It Also Caches Your Tweets So The App Loads Very Quickly</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_0C2E4377-C96F-42A2-9166-DB7D0F45B935.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_0C2E4377-C96F-42A2-9166-DB7D0F45B935.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Also, the app is very well written. It is very snappy and does exactly what it advertises. In my opinion (Alan) this is one of the best Twitter clients on iTunes. It&#8217;s available on the App Store for the low low price of 99 cents! Its well worth every penny!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_95D267A2-52C8-4B9F-9F24-65B94A794E25.jpeg"><img class="size-full wp-image-364 aligncenter" src="http://limitededitioniphone.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/p_480_320_95D267A2-52C8-4B9F-9F24-65B94A794E25.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>I enjoyed using this app, and I hope you do as well. I would like to say thanks to Kevin Yang for hooking us up with iTwitter! Now, I encourage you all to buy it!</p>
<p>Stay tuned here at Limited Edition iPhone for some cool things I&#8217;m going to announce starting next week&#8230;</p>

<p>Wow! It was just less than 3 months ago since Apple sold its 1 billionth application, well, after a little over a year, Apple continues to sell more and more each day. Half a billion applications in just 3 months is insane!<span id="more-2060"></span></p>
<p>This can be attributed to the new iPhone 3G S and its record sales. AT&amp;T is reporting that the iPhone 3G S is the biggest selling phone they have ever had, in proportion to how many units were sold in such a small amount of time.</p>
<p>Now this is impressive, but possibly, this number may not be as impressive. I have not recieved clarification on whether or not this includes app updates. If so, 1.5 billion shouldn&#8217;t be too unexpected. I have downloaded over 300 app updates since iPhone OS 3.0 GM was seeded to developers back on June 8th. (Yes, I have a ton of apps, but I only sync about 250 of them.)</p>
<p>Well, either way, congratulations Apple, you are half way to your second billion.</p>
