UPDATE 1: Well, just as I thought. Apple just changed everything to be more “Snow Leopard-ish”! Also, I found something that caught my attention, Apple is selling a refurbished iPod touch 2G for $179.00! They are also featuring a refurbished iPod Nano for $99!

This further supports everything I have believed since March, a new iPod touch and a new iPod Nano coming very soon! Apple could have featured any other product, but it just so happened to be the touch and the Nano!

They also slightly tweaked the look of their store.

I’ll post anything else I can find! (Pictures after the break)

Well, here is some strange news! An annonymous tipster told me to check out store.apple.com, and what did I find?! Well, Apple’s Online Store is down!

Why is this going on? My tipster claims that it is happening because they are adding the MacBook tablet and the new iPods on the store! Do I believe my tipster? No.

Well, it wouldn’t make sense. Why would Apple sneak such huge news into their website in secrecy? This just doesn’t make sense. They would have to hold a huge event to announce these new products.

I strongly believe that they may just be upgrading their MacBook’s internals as some rumors were circling a few weeks ago. Even more, I believe that they are just updating the store with Snow Leopard things, nothing more.

I will keep you updated if anything significant happens!

UPDATE 1 Pictures:

UPDATE 1: According to Borders bookstore, the new Apple tablet may be called the “iPAD”.

Hey everyone, we’ve recieved some info that will place Apple’s annual iPod/music keynote to September 7th.

So what can we expect? Well, for starters new iPods. I expect a new iPod touch and a new iPod nano, a refresh for the iPod classic and the iPod shuffle, and much much more. More after the break.

The new iPod touch will sport a new 3 mega pixel auto-focus camera , auto-white balance, etc. (like the iPhone 3G S) that will also serve as a video camera. This camera will be on the back in the middle of the iPod touch, next to the Wi-Fi antenna. It will also sport a small external microphone (for Voice Memos and the new camera). Also, 3 models. 16GB for $199, 32GB for $249, and a 64GB for $349.

The above is my personal opinion and other tips left to us here at Limited Edition iPhone by readers familiar on the subject.

Next, the iPod Nano, the iPod nano will also get a refresh. It will be the same skinny iPod Nano, but it will have an additional camera on the back.

Next up, iTunes 9. We are expecting Apple to yet again release a new version of iTunes. iTunes 9 will have all new social networking capabilities such as Flickr, Facebook, and Twitter support. It will also be iPhone OS 3.1 friendly and will further enforce counter attack twards AT&T teathering/MMS hackers.

Next, iPhone OS 3.1. We expect this to be announced and drop the same day. iPhone OS 3.1 will be a huge bug fix with small new features that will make the experience a bit more enjoyable. Also, a new baseband update.

Next up, Project “cocktail”. Apple will announce this and we have tips that say “cocktail” will consist of a new e-book addition to the iTunes store which will compete with Amazon and their Kindle and e-book store.

Finally, we come to the fabled Apple tablet. Now, I personally believe that “iProd1,1″ and “iProd 0,1″ are te fabled Apple tablet. Now, personally, I beleieve that the tablet will drop, or at least be announced, at Apple’s September 7 keynote address. But, sources inside of Apple have said that no, a tablet will not appear at this keynote, but rather early 2010. Possibly along with an iPhone OS 4.0 announcement.

So there you go everyone, this is my round-up of everything comming up that are rumors and those which we have a some-what confirmation, according to our sources.

We will formally reveal when the keynote will be once Apple has made an official statement.

Wow! One of the biggest leaks coming to us via iPhone OS 3.1! Well, again, some new strings have been clearly found. As I had said before, iPod3,1 is still hanging in there.

As you may recall, I discovered the iPod touch 3rd Gen.’s boot sequence in the 3.0 betas a while back. I also discovered iPhone 3,1’s (iPhone 4G, or 4th gen.) boot sequence in the betas as well.

Also, the mysterious iProd0,1 that I (and others) discovered during the beta period.

Well, now the plot thickens. iProd1,1 has also appeared in iPhone OS 3.1! Along with some interesting descriptions.

iProd0,1’s description indicates that it is a standardMuxPTP model. Also, as I previously said during the 3.0 beta testing periods, the “0,1″ in iProd’s name probably means that it is still a prototype, now whether this is a 2nd gen or still a 1st gen protoype, is still unclear.

iProd1,1 is a StandardMuxPTPEthernet model, this is the exact description that can be found on the iPhone, which suggests that this has some major internet capabilities, again, pointing to a new internet capable device, such as the rumored MacBook tablet.

Again, the iPhone 3,1 model has no description, just like all other unannounced devices had in that early of a stage. Also, an iPhone 3,1 could be released before 2009 is over!

No other iPhone model has appeared that early to be unreleased until the next year. Seems fishy.

I am declaring this a 100% confirmed leak. Why? This comes to us from Apple themselves. Not only has this appeared since March, but its still here! If “iProd” was a type-o, wouldn’t Apple have fixed it by now?

It just dawned on me that “iProd” could mean “iProduct”. This is a possibility. I can basically confirm a MacBook tablet before 2009 is over.

Well, this seems very credible. It seems as thought the Financial Times has confirmed an iPhone OS enabled tablet computer for Apple’s annual Let’s Rock iPod event.

So why release it then? Well, apparently it will have some new iTunes features on it.

Apple has reportedly been working with EMI, SonyMusic, Warner Music and Universal Music Group on a project Apple dubbed “Project Cocktail”.

Now, this won’t be like the iPhone OS that we all use on our iPhones (currently), this will be a full featured (less stripped down) version of Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

They also say that this product will be revolutionary for the music/video/audiobook industries! I am excited!

Other rumos indicate that it will be priced between a high end iPhone 3G S and the cheapest plastic Macbook.

Also, people familiar with the subject (internally) suggest that the new product will overtake the name “Macbook” and eliminate the current white plastic notebook.

iPhone OS 3.1 is expected to drop at Apple’s annual Let’s Rock iPod event.

So we will just have to wait for September and see…

Hey guys, this next one is a little shocking to me. It is very unexpected. I have been hearing reports of The Pwnage Tool failing on the new MacBooks. I have heard many reports from many different people across the country, and it seems that Apple has found a way to prevent The iPhone Dev Team’s Pwnage application.

So how is this even possible? Well, in order to successfully pwn your iPhone or iPod touch, it must be in a DFU state, so Apple has made it so that all new MacBooks prevent this. The iPhone or iPod touch will still be able to get into DFU mode, but here’s the kicker, the MacBook WILL NOT recognize any iPhone or iPod touch in DFU mode.

Whether this is due to hardware tweaks on the new MacBooks is not yet clear, but my guess is that Apple made a new build of iTunes that is running on these new MacBooks. This is not yet confirmed by any means, but it is highly probable. It is still unsure if this is an issue that current Mac OS X Leopard users will have to face with their outdated Macs, but at least for now, it is only affecting the new MacBook users.

So, what if these reports are 100% true? This just means that Apple is taking iPhone and iPod touch jailbreaking and unlocking more seriously than it used to. It seems that now the real battle has begun between us, in the iPhone and iPod touch hacking community, and Apple Inc. Let’s just see who will win in this 1 ½ year long cat and mouse game…
