So Tethering is not included in the 3.0 firmware for the iPhone 3G from the start. You need to do a few simple things to enable it.

Go to Tethering & Internet Settings.

Choose USA.

Hey fellow iPhone 3G T-Mobile users. Now that Ultrasn0w has unlocked our iPhone 3G for use with the 3.0 firmware lets take advantage of MMS. We do not have to wait to use MMS like AT&T users do. Setting up MMS is easy.

iPhone OS 3.0 MMS To Be Included At No Extra Cost AT&T Claims

“AT&T will make multimedia messaging (MMS) available at no extra cost to customers with a text messaging bundle,” says AT&T. Now it is unclear if it also applies to us GoPhone customers. If it does, I will take back most of my bad comments about AT&T.
