Otterbox has just released some new cases for the iPhone 3G / 3GS. They sent a few over to us to review. The first is the Otterbox Commuter TL Case. I was going to do a video review of these cases but my camera died before I could transfer the data and my brother lost the recharger now. As soon as we get that fixed I will post a video review.

The Otterbox Commuter TL case is available in 7 different colors and is slimmer and more stylish that Otterbox’s Defender series. It offers less protection than the Defender series, but you have a slim and sexy look yet it still offers decent protection.

After using this case for about a week, I have come to realize that this is not going to come off my iPhone. I mean this in a good way. Obviously you can remove it with ease. I am going to keep it on as my main case. Typically I like to have my iPhone in a slim sleeve and store it in my pocket. The Otterbox Commuter TL case offers more protection and does not add much bulk.

The Otterbox Commuter TL includes three pieces. The first thing you get is a clear protection film that adheres to your iPhone’s screen to protect it from scratches. I bet most people already have this but it is nice to get a new one every so often. The second piece is a silicon protection layer that helps your hands grip your iPhone with ease and dissipate shock away from your iPhone. The last layer is a clip that offers extra support and protects and displays your Apple Logo and camera.

The Otterbox Commuter TL is priced perfectly at $29.95

Lastly all of your ports are fully covered by the silicon layer and can be easily opened to connect your headphones and cable. Overall Limited Edition iPhone rates the Otterbox Commuter TL series a 10/10!

Hey guys, today I am reviewing a very request application. Today is MyWi’s turn. MyWi is an application that allows you to share your iPhone 3G or iPhone 3G S’ GRPS/EDGE/3G connection via Wi-Fi!

This is really cool. This is an amazing application! It is so simple to use and set up. Anyone can do this.

You just have to open MyWi, give your network a name, and tap on the “Off” slider button, then it will automatically start the necessary services and start the Wi-Fi antenna. It’s that simple! You can also set a password for your network so you can choose who uses your iPhone’s MyWi connection and who doesn’t.

The best part is that your iPhone 3G/3G S doesn’t have to have MyWi running all the time, you may do other things while you tether via Wi-Fi.

I use MyWi daily. I use it to tether my iPhone 3G to my hackint0shed netbook via Wi-Fi. The reason being that p1nksn0w is still in beta and USB/Bluetooth tethering doesn’t work correctly so MyWI (with a few modifications to System Preferences) is the only way to tether. Also, I have found Wi-Fi tethering faster than USB 2.0 tethering.

MyWi transfers the data from the cellular antenna/services and transmits Wi-Fi signals that allow you to use your carrier’s network.

MyWi has a decent range. I have found it to cover a medium sized room from end to end. I would use this if you are like me and don’t have a home internet connection so you have to resort to your carrier’s (in my case T-Mobile) GRPS/EDGE/3G network. Also, if you are in a work or school setting and your administrators block your internet, this is a great way to cheat their system blocks. (You could also charge your friends to use your network, just set a password and rent them the password.)

I am really impressed. If you have Verizon Wireless or Sprint you may be familiar with MiWi, well this is exactly the same concept. Share your cellular data connection via a small device (this being the iPhone in MyWi’s case).

I recommend you all to purchase this. I give MyWi a 10 out of 10, I rarely love an application that much. It works very well, and the possibilities are endless.

MyWi can be purchased via Rock Your Phone’s RockApp application. You may download RockApp via Cydia. I highly recommend you download RockApp & RockApp Extensions (the extensions are so RockApp works) and make a Rock Your Phone account, you will definitely need it very shortly if you know what I mean…

Hey guys, well, this time, I was approached by the CEO of NibiruTech LTD., Kevin Yang to review their latest application that was just released. Their latest and greatest is called MobileRSS!

Well, I have seen many RSS applications throughout the App Store, and to tell you the truth none of them stood out to me as even worth purchasing. Now, I am speaking for myself, Mike may think differently.

Now, MobileRSS is different. MobileRSS is packed with features that make sharing news with the world a snap. This is an application that really changed my expectations on an RSS application.

MobileRSS allows you to tweet and e-mail the latest news from your subscribed feeds to all of your friends without leaving the app. It has a built-in Twitter client (such as that of iTwitter) so you can tweet the latest news, such as that from us here at Limited Edition iPhone!

It also has a feature that I always praise, it has in-app e-mail. It is surprising how many developers have failed at add in-app e-mail into their applications, and MobileRSS delivers.

This app also adds an “open in Safari” feature, now this is great, this is my only feature I would tweak. I would add a built-in WebView page so that people wouldn’t have to quit the application to view the article in its originaly form. This shouldn’t be too difficult to add so you can possibly expect this in a future update.

Now MobileRSS is also a very easy to use RSS client. It displays the feed in a very elegant manner. Its clean and its very easy to use.

I am a very picky person when it comes to an application’s ease of use and its GUI. MobileRSS does a great job at this. They have made the interface clean enough to make reading an RSS feed great again. Also, its so easy to use. Anyone can just buy this, and use it without any instructions.

MobileRSS is a hit. If you enjoy using and reading RSS feeds this is the best application for the iPhone to do it. MobileRSS is available on the App Store for $4.99! Overall, Great Interface. Great Features. Simply Amazing! Period.

Hey everyone, sorry for the lateness on this one but T-Mobile has retaliated and I can kiss data good bye for now. I managed to get on for a few minutes, but that is it for right now. So now onto the review of ControlPad.

Well, ControlPad is a very simple application to use, as was iLaunch. Basically it allows your iPhone to act as a trackpad for your Mac OS X Tiger/Leopard, Windows XP/Vista, or Linux Unbuntu enabled computer! This is done over Wi-Fi, no internet connection necessary, just make an Ad-HOC connection on your computer.

A really useful thing that they did was add step by step instructions for all of the operating systems I mentioned above! So just purchase, open the app, follow the simple instructions, and you can start using it as you feel fit.

This is useful for when you are either tired/lazy or in some cases incapacitated for whatever reason. It also gives you a familiar keyboard to use, and as we all know, texting is our thing, and I found that typing on my iPhone is faster than on a computer in some instances.

So check out ControlPad! Its available on the iTunes App Store for a low price of $2.99 ! This is a very useful app and I recommend it if you are lazy or need some way to type or use the track pad for whatever you feel the need to.

Also, you can use this in combination with Apple’s Remote application (for iTunes) and open iTunes and play our content without ever touching or Macs.

This app requires virtually no configuration! All you need is the app, enable screen sharing in System Preferences, and a Wi-Fi/AD-HOC connection. (You can make an AD-HOC connection using the built-in Airport utility on your Mac/Hackint0sh.

I like this app, it works fairly well on my hackint0sh netbook. The only downfall to this application is that it is Mac OS X only. Windows OS is not supported.

I give this app a 8 out of 10 due to the fact that it does exactly what it advertises and it does it very well. It loses a couple points due to the lack of Windows support (I don’t really care about lack of Windows support, but Windows still has 89% market share).

I encourage you all to purchase it. Its only $0.99! Also, if you do purchase it, make sure to leave a review and a rating, help them out, give them a review.

Alright guys, stay tuned for more…
