Trojan Virus Disguised As New iPhone Application

September 19th, 2008 · 2 Comments · Apple, Applications, iPhone, Mods

Alright guys, we all love the iPhone and iPod touch and I’m sure you have all gotten e-mails that advertise new applications, or new Apple products right? So receiving an e-mail with the subject as “Virtual iPhone Games” or “Apple: The Most Popular Game” or even something with an attached application like “penguin.panic.zip” isn’t too uncommon for us Apple, iPhone and iPod touch fanatics, right? I’ll take that as a yes.

So this is just a little heads up from us here at LimitedEditioniPhone.com. Well there has been a trojan virus that has been circling the internet in an e-mail with an attatchment or subject like the one’s I mentioned earlier. Now this virus has not infected a single one of our shiny iPhone or iPod touches, not even a Mac, but as always, if you are a Windows user, be careful when opening your iPhone type mail, because if you aren’t careful, you might just regret it. The virus identifies itself as
Troj/Agent-HNY, so update your anti-virus.

Sure “TH-X” or should I say truehybridx, LOL. The e-mail is on it’s way….LOL. JK. I don’t know man, people are stupid. Remember that iPhone virus back in the day? The “1st iPhone virus” now that was pointless, that was the stupidest thing ever, I mean really, if you want to do something, do it right, and do it well. The iPhone virus only too out a few bin files, a simple DFU firmware flash fixed them right up, LOL.
