3G Strings Found In iPhone 2.0 Beta 6

3g

Apple has added two warning strings if a user tries to turn 3G on or off during an active iPhone call, according to a few reliable sources.

The two new strings are:

– “Disabling 3G will end your phone call. Are you sure you want to disable 3G?”

– “Enabling 3G will end your phone call. Are you sure you want to enable 3G?”

In previous firmware the following string was discovered:

– “Using 3G loads data faster, but decreases battery life.”

Apple is expected to announce the 3G iPhone during WWDC08. There are just a few days left until Steve gives his keynote. Many rumors have come to light, some true, some fake, and some plausible. Things are really intense right now, and there have been no “official” confirmations. (Obviously) We will just have to wait a few more days.
