BREAKING NEWS: Mac OS X Developer License Now $99

March 4th, 2010 by Alan Vazquez · No Comments

Well it seems that today’s shut down of developer.apple.com was due to the fact that Apple has lowered the price of the Mac OS X development license to $99!

This is exactly like the iPhone/iPad developer license. This makes sense. Developers are used to XCode for the iPhone OS, so why not use thos skills towards Mac OS X? (Like we have)

So there you go everyone!

PRESS RELEASE: LEI Mobile v4.0 Coming Soon…

February 26th, 2010 by Alan Vazquez · 6 Comments

Lei Mobile 4.0

Well here we go everybody! This is something that I am very excited to announce. Today, we are announcing LEI Mobile v4.0! This is the 4th major revision of LEI Mobile.

Now, what could we possibly have done for LEI Mobile v4.0? You have no idea.

We have overhauled LEI Mobile v4.0 with a brand new GUI. LEI Mobile v4.0 sports our latest and greatest core. Since LEI Mobile started it all, I think it’s only fit that we give it our AVBE v2.7 core.

We had previously kept LEI Mobile at our AVBE v2.3 core, but we have been working hard to bring it up to speed, and this even sports a version that was made for LEI Mobile v4.0 and expanded to the whole product line.

LEI Mobile v4.0 also has built-in support for Hack My Pad (HMP Mobile) and all services related to Hack My Pad! As well as some new services that are new to LEI Mobile like “Breaking News”, “Forum”, and “Contests”.

We also moved all of our Twitters into 1 icon in a brand new view. We did this to free up some space on the home screen.

As well as adding a bunch of new features, we have also insanely improved it’s speed and performance. It runs like a dream. It is 2x as responsive as LEI Mobile v3.2! Its so cool.

We have also added the new labels feature that we also added in SocialMe v1.1. Now, when you tap on a service, the label will now read what that service is! This makes it all look even better than it already does!

We have really pushed the envelope with LEI Mobile v4.0, we are really excited to finally be available to everyone. We have kept quiet to even our beta testers as we have been changing the user interface throughout these last few weeks.
We like to keep our secrecy but here it is.

LEI Mobile v4.0 will be available later this March. We will be sure to let you know.

So there you go guys! LEI Mobile v4.0! The next-generation of application!
* All images are subject to change. This is not the final distribution build.

PRESS RELEASE: SocialMe v1.1 Available On The App Store Now!

February 26th, 2010 by Alan Vazquez · No Comments

xxxx

Well here we go everybody. This is one of the major announcements for today. SocialMe has finally been approved and is now officially available on the iTunes App Store!

Now, SocialMe v1.1 sports some bug fixes as well as it’s core being upgraded to our latest AVBE v2.7 core (upgraded from the older AVBE v2.5 core).

So what does the core upgrade mean? A lot actually. The speed of SocialMe is insane. Not only does it load in a third of a second (iPod touch 2G & 1 second on iPhone 2G/3G) but it is incredibly smooth. We have squashed a bunch of bugs from SocialMe v1.0 and transitions are done so beautifully.

We have also slightly modified the UI. We have changed the color of the bar at the bottom. This new bar makes the application look even better than it did in SocialMe v1.0.

We also now have support for a better use of the views. Unique labels are added to the services when you tap on them. For example, they don’t all say “SocialMe” at the top, now when you tap Facebook, the label will say “Facebook” or if yo tap on Flickr, the label says “Flickr”. It really makes it all look way better.

This also squashes that bug that affected LEI Mobile v2.0 -> v3.2 (Or anything using our AVBE v1.0 -> AVBE v2.5 core). This bug would prevent the service to be closed after you hit the app’s “home” button. The page would continue loading even though the view was exited. Well, that’s now been fixed as part of the core upgrade.

We also now have some awesome back end things. We now have tools that allow us to see more in depth as to how people are using our applications and where. We will be using this data to better understand how our customers use our applications and what we can do to make them better.

The application is more secure for both us and for you. The app has more credential security so there is not a chance that anyone can see or use your credentials. Again, we never look at any credentials used in the application at any time. Privacy and security are always considered. We will NEVER look at any credentials that you use in any of our applications.

So there you go guys. SocialMe is now available on the iTunes App Store! Just go to the App Store and search for “SocialMe” or click here to download the app today!

It’s only $0.99 and we will be continuing support for this app for a very long time. We will be adding more features and services in the future. So stay tuned.

We will also be attempting to transition to the App Store with all of our applications, present and future.

Thank you. That’s SocialMe and The iTunes App Store.

PRESS RELEASE: s1lv3r v1.1 Coming Soon…

February 26th, 2010 by Alan Vazquez · No Comments

silver_001

Well, now we move on to Mac OS X. We are going to talk about s1lv3r now.

Well, s1lv3r is a great application that allows you to pseudo sign your Cydia applications. It’s really nice. It really makes it extremely easy for Cydia developers to get their applications ready for Cydia submission.

Well, today, we are announcing s1lv3r v1.1!

This is the first update to s1lv3r. Now, this version is strictly a bug fixes and compatability update. s1lv3r v1.1 fixes a few signing bugs that some of you may or may not have experienced. We are also adding support for iPhone SDK 3.1.3 and iPhone SDK 3.2!

As you know, we can patch XCode to easily allow you to bypass the need to have a developer certificate. You’ll be able to build an unsigned binary, and then use s1lv3r to pseudo sign it and then upload it to your jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch.

So that’s s1lv3r. We will be releasing this in Mid-March. So stay tuned for that.
