Firmware 1.1.4 Released For iPhone: iPhone SDK Event March 6th

February 27th, 2008 · 1 Comment · Apple, Applications, iPhone, Unlocked

The 1.1.4 has been released. As always do not upgrade if you have an unlocked phone until it is confirmed safe. ZiPhone claims to have worked, but there aren’t any icons for our installed apps, and we can’t uninstall or reinstall. Also, it’s worth noting that since this is a rather hefty update in terms of file size, and yet added features seem non-existent, our best guess is that this paves the way for an SDK which is going to be released March 6th. Apple has just sent out invitations to press and developers to an event hosting the introduction of the iPhone SDK scheduled March 6th! Could there be another firmware released at the same time? 1.1.5 or 2.0? -Thanks Engadget!
