Unfortunately, it’s been discovered to be a pretty good fake. The now-infamous “Enable 3G” screenshot purportedly taken from a recent iPhone 2.0 firmware beta was mocked up according to iSmashPhone.

Even if this is a minor setback, there remains a huge amount of evidence pointing towards Apple’s launching a 3G iPhone in the coming weeks, complete with a feature to enable or disable the unit’s high speed features.
