So MuscleNerd had a live demo of the new YellowSnow unlock for the iPhone 3G. It is called UltraSn0w and will unlock all iPhone 3Gs that have the new iPhone 3.0 firmware that Will be released in a few hours, On June 17th to be exact. UltraSn0w will be available on Cydia this Friday. Users will have to update to 3.0 OS and jailbreak to get Cydia on their phone.
So to sum it up you will be able to unlock and jailbreak any iPhone 3G that has the latest 3.0 firmware installed. T-Mobile USA readers can rejoice!!

Cydia will be installed by jailbreaking. The Dev-Team is working out kinks in two areas: youtube on hacktivated phones, and a bona fide Apple bug! You jailbreak using pwnage and quickpwn, which should be out soon (Today!)
