I have been trying to make a repository for the past few days, but i can’t seem to figure out what I am doing wrong. I based mine off of the demo one that apptapp has on their site. I can add it but it doesn’t show any details about my source or any of my packages. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

hi ,
i just wanted to know that after that i virginize my iphone that has firmware 1.0.2 using the installer app. how should i update to version 1.1.1 or v 1.1.2 and what will be state of my phone after virginizing 1.0.2 via installer .app.
and do need to download an older firmware ie. 1.1.1 to upgrade and then unlock it.
also how will i be able to unlock it?

Ryan the biggest problems that you are going to have being on windows is your zip files. For some reason I cannot find a program that will make proper zips of folders in windows. I have had to create a lot of my zip files with a mac.

I think that’s my issue. The ones that are already zipped up that I got from other repositories work great. But things I make myself all say “download package failed”. Any ideas on what I could use as I don’t own a mac (hopefully that will change after xmas)

Just tried it…same result…

I unistalled TTR, went back to springboard, slide to unlock, verified removal of icon, back to installer, re-installed TTR, went back out and verified icon, went to download GH3…it downloads but when it tries to install itself I get the same message…just like before…what could be wrong???

Hey thanks for limited edition. I have a problem with my youtube. I have downloaded your youtube fix and another youtube activation. Neither worked for me I have followed instructions to the letter and can’t get it to work. After I download the package I make sure the date and time is correct, then I go to reboot my phone and it doesn’t turn off it goes to the sleep window even though I slide my icon over to reboot the phone. I then still reboot and it doesn’t work I have a iPhone firmware 1.1.2 jailbroken but not unlocked please help!!!!

hi, first of all, i bought an iPhone which is made in 51th week of 2007. it’s new and 1.1.2 version already installed in factory. everything is normal until here… but the problem is my iPhone is frozen at start (where “slide to emergency” is wirtten) i can slide, and i can’t do anything.. it’s not activated, because can’t activate frozen iPhone… can i fix this problem?? or is this fixeble..?? i tried to restore 1.1.2, 1.1.1 and even 1.0.2……… the same thing happens everytime, it’s frozen again…. Chris your internet connection must be getting interrupted during the install process. Please make sure you have a strong internet connection when you install anything from installer. You can manually ssh into your phone to fix the problem.

I had tzones for long time. but didnt work with the iphone, then i got EDGE working, then i tried the hack from surreal and it work and disconetd EDGE, after two days (today) that hack didnt work anymore, unistall that one and install yours, but no luck. what can be happening? any one else with this problem? help. reply with detail instrucctions, please. Hi ,

I cannot install any new apps through Installer – the file downloads but doesn’t install and I cannot see the app icon (sometimes I see it with a “?” sign in Customize). I’m using 1.1.2. Recently when I was using 1.1.1 I had the same problem, a friend told me its because I’m using Customize which changes a lot of system files, but after uninstalling Customize I had the same problem. I then upgraded to 1.1.2 and everything worked fine till yesterday, and yes I did install Customize and Categories a couple of days back (can’t live without them). Any idea how to solve this problem, short of reinstalling 1.1.2 (or waiting for 1.1.3 ). Cheers, Buzz.

hi, i’ve been trying to get my edge up for my iphone for the past 24 hours. currently i have it unlocked and jailbreaked via ziphone. i am on 1.1.3 and have downgraded to t-zone 5.99 plan but i am getting nothing from my browsers even though the “E” shows up on th upper left hand corner. i’ve done the network settings and i have loaded t-zone hack 1.1.3 but still getting nothing. any help would be appreciated.

Never got an answer on the T-Mobile question. The rumor i’ve heard is that T-Mobile may have been disabling the ability to use the $5.99 service through the iPhone. I’ve read this on several sites starting back in late December. I don’t have a definitive answer.

the weirdest thing happened late last night. my edge turned on after 24-28 hours of trying to figure out if i was doing things right or wrong, when in fact t-mobile just didn’t turn on the dam switch. anyway, all is well and i think it is running along at a decent speed.

I just discovered all of this install.app stuff for the iphone and I installed the program on my iphone version 1.1.1 but I am having trouble running some of the apps you can get. I have the installer running on it and Cydia but for some reason certain apps I download just dont work or even show up. Can someone walk me through this process? Im not so sauvy at it. thanks!

I upgraded to 1.1.4 and re-unlocked using the excellent Ziphone.win 2.5 and now the iunlock.no EDGE settings fix no longer works so the damn thing loses any EDGE APN data input.
Not that I’ve yet managed to pick up email via edge on vodafone UK!
Has anyone got an EDGE settings fix for 1.1.4?

1.1.2 OTB jailbroken 10 1.1.3 jailbroken to 1.1.4 h/w unlock using T-Mobile. everything works after jailbreaking to 1.1.4 except “Youtube not available”. Even your hack (lei.htm) doesn’t fix it. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

1.1.2 OTB jailbroken 10 1.1.3 jailbroken to 1.1.4 h/w unlock using T-Mobile. everything works after jailbreaking to 1.1.4 except “Youtube not available” on Edge. Safari works on Edge. YouTube works on WiFi. Even your hack (lei.htm) doesn’t fix it. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

Question: I got a 1.1.4 16GB iphone and I’m running an unlocked phone with T-Mobile. Downloaded the Edge hack and got it up and running with T-Zones. However, the Edge hack by limitededitioniphone shuts down my wifi connection? Anyone knows a fix to keep the Edge hack and wifi running ?

Think first before of using/installing this “limitededitioniphone” it makes my iPhone ‘Installer” not functioning, refer to my few posted 81, 82, 83. Since then I’m stock. I can’t update.

Though the good fellow who made this software is good.

the bottom of your iPhone has the attena that gives you signal that’s why its plastic and not metal like the rest of the iPhone , if this didn’t help go into tweaks or 1.1.? Tweaks for the answer in installer

INSTALLER CRASHES…..Im using 1.1.3 .I have had to restart several times because installer started to crash everytime I tried to open it.It started crashing once and then open,then twice,then three time and so on until it would just crash everytime..So I finally got it to load by disabling the wifi..After it loaded,I started to think,,,I always got this problem after I added LEI ,,so I deleted LEI from my sources and now my phone is loading back the way it did before I installed LEI..I think there is a problem here. My friends iphone has done the same thing also..So,,I was wondering,,Do you have any other people who have this problem as well???Thanks for your time and I appreciate all your work..Thanx Again

You need to restore but find the FW file and restore to 1.1.1. put the phone in recovery mode and restore manually I think…

Hi everybody, I got my iphone unlocked at a shop and when I try to go to youtube it says”cannot connect to youtube” and when I ry to connect to safari it says” safari can’t open because it can’t find the server” but I am at home and connected to my wireless network and it says so in the settings. i tried doing the thing by opening installer and adding the url and when I try to refresh it, it says “Refresh Failed Could not refresh sources!” could you please help me out because my sister’s itouch is connected to youtube so its not a connection problem but i think its because the shop unlocked my phone.

You know I have unlocked my iphone and fallowed all the steps from ZiPhone. Until this day I have had NO problems with it at all. I was needing more sources I came across this site and have to say alot of neat apps from this source. Just wish some one would get the Yahoo Messager working . I have the MobileChat aswell as Apollo. But no Yahoo . I would have to say who ever is the first to get this out is going to the greatest hacker of all time . PLEASE Some one work on this . Aswell as a MMS package would be nice too aswell .

vincent: or you could do a force reboot. Sometimes I have the same problem and I have to do a force reboot. Or on occasions the springboard doens’t reboot. So I manually crash the springboard using a flaw in the new Springboard’s code. I touch an icon then I touch the text on an icon that is in the dock then I just drag my finger everywhere for like 3 seconds, then the springboard crashes and then reboots. (It’s perfectly safe)

Katelyn: Alright, I can help you there. I have an iPod touch too, no you cannot use T-Mobile’s T-Zones. Only an iPhone can. Also, you’re not hacking into T-Moible’s T-Zones, you are just alowing your iPhone to use it. You still have to pay. The reason that an iPod touch can’t use T-Zone’s is because it does not have the right hardware. It would need a radio inside it. (By radio I mean the thing that let’s phone’s call via a satelite and such)

My EDGE is n0t w0rking c0rrectly… wifi w0rks fine but when using EDGE the page is searching f0r the website and after a m0ment the page display an error message that says, “Error 500 internal Server error” any ideas, i do have the “T-Mobile 1.1.3/4 T zones, and Tzones Hack” and it is set up to wap.voicestream.com, username and password empty.
