THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH FIRMWARE 2.0+
I have finally decided to make my own installer source to add my mods and hacks. Instead of manually updating phones after an update or restore, I can use installer to do it for me instantly.
So far I have added a few things like new icons, sms tones, YouTube fix, T-Mobile’s T-Zone Hack, and a few others. I will constantly be updating it with more and more things that I find unique and useful. Most of the downloads will be available to manually download at code.google.com/p/iphone2/
If anyone wants me to add specific content please let me know, otherwise, please follow the guide bellow to learn how to install the Limited Edition iPhone Source1. First open Installer.app
2. Click on Sources
3. Click Edit
4. Click Add
5. Type: https://limitededitioniphone.com/lei.xml and then hit OK
6. Click Done
7. Click Refresh and you will see Limited Edition iPhone in the Sources
8. Your done! Now go to install and browse all the new items.
I have IPod Touch 16G 1.1.4 and this source will not add anything when refreshed 🙁
how do i open the installer.app on the iPhone to do all of this (the limited edition iPhone source)??

Hey, could you tell me how to install dock(sunburst) program to my iphone unlocked(1.1.2) T-Mobile? When i try to install it, it gives me “Main Script Execution Failed”. Also do you know if 1.1.4 firmware is safe to upgrade to?

hey, if I install packages and go back to the home screen my iphone screen freezes for about 5 minutes, do you know how to fix this?
it has to restart the springboard for your new programs to show up
vincent: or you could do a force reboot. Sometimes I have the same problem and I have to do a force reboot. Or on occasions the springboard doens’t reboot. So I manually crash the springboard using a flaw in the new Springboard’s code. I touch an icon then I touch the text on an icon that is in the dock then I just drag my finger everywhere for like 3 seconds, then the springboard crashes and then reboots. (It’s perfectly safe)
Katelyn: Alright, I can help you there. I have an iPod touch too, no you cannot use T-Mobile’s T-Zones. Only an iPhone can. Also, you’re not hacking into T-Moible’s T-Zones, you are just alowing your iPhone to use it. You still have to pay. The reason that an iPod touch can’t use T-Zone’s is because it does not have the right hardware. It would need a radio inside it. (By radio I mean the thing that let’s phone’s call via a satelite and such)

I’ve updated my iphone to 2.1. Jailbroke it and installed Cydia, Customize, and Installer. Everytime I open up customizer and try to see new themes or something, it only shows grey and white squares. Everytime I open up installer it says “can’t find host. Did I do something wrong or am I missing something? Please help.

LimitedEditioniPhone does not have an installer or clydia source for firmwares 2.0 and above. I will create one soon though!

you can manually install installer with ssh. Currently LEI does not have a cydia or installer source that is compatible with 2.0+ firmwares

I just jailbroke but I have installer 4.0 now and cydia and there is a pineapple. I want to get gh3 but it says it can’t decode it. What do I do?
katie: alright, for everyone else, please note that LimitedEditioniPhone.com does not yet have an Installer 4 or Cydia 2.0 repo. We will have one up in the near future, but as of now we do not have any such repository. We will make a new post on the home page when we do have a new repo. the repo listed above is for iPhone OS 1.x.x
it says that its having trouble decoding packages
My EDGE is n0t w0rking c0rrectly… wifi w0rks fine but when using EDGE the page is searching f0r the website and after a m0ment the page display an error message that says, “Error 500 internal Server error” any ideas, i do have the “T-Mobile 1.1.3/4 T zones, and Tzones Hack” and it is set up to wap.voicestream.com, username and password empty.
Any ideas on what i can do to fix the problem? please.

i have the new 2.2 update and i cant see to download it. and i saw on top of the page that this will not work on 2.0 firmware… is there anyway you can update it. this would be a great app to try out since im a big fan of guitar hero…. (i can not download the GH3, it says there is an error)….
