WinPwn has finally been updated so all you windows users can easily upgrade to firmware 2.0.2 and jailbreak it. There is still no unlock for the iPhone 3G yet, but you are able to unlock the 2G iPhone with firmware 2.0.2.

updated with WinPwn 2.5 to 2.0.2 and can not find edge setting or even where you can change them everthing else works great. I’m on Rogers in Canada
Mike: Alrght man, well I’ve never heard of such a problem, but let me ask you, Did you leave Wi-Fi on or AirPlane mode on? Those things on can currupt your carrier bundles. So I suggest restoring again, but this time, make a new 2.0.2 firmware, sometimes WinPwn screws things up.
i have a 2g iphone and i wanna upgrade it to 2.1 firmware can it be jailbroken and unlocked or not?
sars: yes it can! Now it can, go to blog.iphone-dev.org to download QuickPwn, don’t download QuickPwn anywhere other than blog.iphone-dev.org, just update to 2.1 (make sure you boot neutered, now just regularly update to 2.1, then use QuickPwn to activate and jailbreak!
