Hey guys, I have uncovered a secret way to enable emoji on an iPhone or iPod touch running 2.2.1 or any of the 3.0 betas! Now this is a free solution, without having to jailbreak!
This is via a free application on the App Store. It is called “Spell Number”. This is the most discrete way to enable emoji! Apple has been cracking down on emoji enabling applications, so the developers of Spell Number have made emoji renabling very discrete. That’s what makes this a great application to enable emoji with!
All you have to do is search the App Store for “Spell Number” and then download it. Now run the application, and type in the following, exactly! (without quotation marks) “91929394.59” then hit the “return” key on the keyboard.
Now go to Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Japonese and enable emoji! Now you are done! Congratulations! You now have emoji!
