ONLY 1.14 and Below.
THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH FIRMWARE 2.0+
I have finally decided to make my own installer source to add my mods and hacks. Instead of manually updating phones after an update or restore, I can use installer to do it for me instantly.
So far I have added a few things like new icons, sms tones, YouTube fix, T-Mobile’s T-Zone Hack, and a few others. I will constantly be updating it with more and more things that I find unique and useful. Most of the downloads will be available to manually download at code.google.com/p/iphone2/
If anyone wants me to add specific content please let me know, otherwise, please follow the guide bellow to learn how to install the Limited Edition iPhone Source1. First open Installer.app
2. Click on Sources
3. Click Edit
4. Click Add
5. Type: https://limitededitioniphone.com/lei.xml and then hit OK
6. Click Done
7. Click Refresh and you will see Limited Edition iPhone in the Sources
8. Your done! Now go to install and browse all the new items.

I have been trying to make a repository for the past few days, but i can’t seem to figure out what I am doing wrong. I based mine off of the demo one that apptapp has on their site. I can add it but it doesn’t show any details about my source or any of my packages. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Limited Edition iPhone // Nov 29, 2007 at 12:04 PM
Open up mine and just follow how its setup.

hi ,
i just wanted to know that after that i virginize my iphone that has firmware 1.0.2 using the installer app. how should i update to version 1.1.1 or v 1.1.2 and what will be state of my phone after virginizing 1.0.2 via installer .app.
and do need to download an older firmware ie. 1.1.1 to upgrade and then unlock it.
also how will i be able to unlock it?
Limited Edition iPhone // Dec 7, 2007 at 8:34 AM
once you virginize update to 1.1.1, jailbreakme.com, install oktoprep, upgrade to 1.1.2 and then jailbreak and unlock. When you upgrade to 1.1.1, follow this guide to upgrade and unlock 1.1.2: https://limitededitioniphone.com/easy-upgrade-from-unlocked-111-to-unlocked-112-firmware/

RE: Your “Better Edge Icons” package:
Firstly, I don’t think they’re “better”. ALTERNATE would be a more appropriate description.
Secondly, it’s EDGE (all caps), not “Edge”, as you have.

Re: Red To Green Signal bars package:
Forgot to add, great idea, but what about Red (low), Yellow (medium), and Green (full signal) bars instead?
Limited Edition iPhone // Dec 8, 2007 at 11:42 AM
They are red yellow and green. I will try to update the descriptions for you.

Ryan the biggest problems that you are going to have being on windows is your zip files. For some reason I cannot find a program that will make proper zips of folders in windows. I have had to create a lot of my zip files with a mac.
Ryan Worrell // Dec 10, 2007 at 6:46 PM
I think that’s my issue. The ones that are already zipped up that I got from other repositories work great. But things I make myself all say “download package failed”. Any ideas on what I could use as I don’t own a mac (hopefully that will change after xmas)
Ryan Worrell // Dec 10, 2007 at 6:48 PM
….also no sure if it helps, but i tried making my .zip files with both windows and winrar.

make sure you have internet access Eduardo either on wifi or make sure you have the correct edge settings on your phone.
