Apple has released the second beta of the iPhone 3.0 OS and push notifications are now live. Apple has also released information to certain developers on how to implement in-app purchases. This release has fixed many of the bugs users have submitted.

Apple also confirmed that MMS and tethering will not be supported during the iPhone 3.0 beta test.
