Guys, seriously, be careful, I have been recieving reports right and left of fake QuickPwn and fake Pwnage Tool’s circling on the web. Those fake QuickPwn and Pwnage Tool’s are bricking people’s devices, PERMANENTLY! So if you don’t want to be stuck with a $229 + unit, then please be careful when downloading stuff.

The QuickPwn site that has recently popped up is FAKE! It is not an official iPhone Dev Team web site, the contents of that site can brick your iPod touch or iPhone or iPhone 3G. I’m just here to warn all of you, so please don’t trust any site that claims to have a new QuickPwn or Pwnage Tool. Go to blog.iphone-dev.org to find all of the official, working, hacking tools.
