Makayama has released an outstanding application that replaces Apple’s camera app. Camera Pro for the iPhone is exactly what Apple should have included in the iPhone camera app. Camera Pro gives you the ability to zoom, take back and white photos, activate a self timer and more. Priced at $19.95 on sale, this application may seem expensive, but come on you have an iPhone. You should be able to afford that if you really want the premium features. If you really enjoy taking pictures on your iPhone this app is a must buy. Casual picture takes may also download the free version from installer and take advantage of the free version features listed below.
The Free version includes:
- Digital Zoom

- Image Size
- Auto-orientation
Premium features (5 times free tryout):
- Self-Timer

Added soon (only free for registered users):
- Flickr integration (week 2, 2008)
- Manual Exposure (February, 2008)

no way! I’m waiting too. This software is LAME–digital zoom? WOW! How about the ability to record VIDEO with the iPhone camera? Now THAT would be worth getting!
This is awesome, I’m sure they’ll make some money when they go legit with the sdk.
There is already a video recording program that works great. It’s called showtime. Made by Layton Duncan and available from the PolarBearFarm source in installer.app. I’m not sure what the source address is for that, but it can be added manually if you do not already have it.
I tried to uninstall this Camera Pro and it has seriously damaged the camera program that came with my iPhone.
agreed, add in video and I’ll pay up.
As far as Video already is out… Iphone video recorder….
