Our close neighbor, ColorWare, was kind enough to send us a customized iPhone for review. The color pink was choosen back in October, during breast cancer awareness month. On their website it states that it takes up to 2 weeks for delivery. 2 weeks would be too long for me to last without my iPhone, so the best option would be to buy a brand new customized one from them and then sell your old one when it arrives. Pricing ranges from $145-$219 based on options that you choose. Although that may seem like a steep price to some, you have to remember that its totally unique.
Options include customizing the back, bottom, frame, button, logo, dock, and headphones. Currently their are 18 metallic colors to choose from and 10 solid colors. ColorWare has a nice customizer on their website so that you can customize on the fly. You are instalty able to preview what your iPhone will look like.
Shipping took the full 2 weeks. They sent the package in a well packaged box sent via FedEx Saver. The box cover was replaced with their own which looks very nice as you can see it in the pictures. The Phone and accessories were placed back into the box with the plastic all reattached to help protect them.
Overall I would have to say that although the price gets pretty pricey if you customize it to its fullest its a wonderful buy. It turned out way better then how it is depicted on their customizer. They only drawback that some people may not like is they put their logo at the bottom where you would dock your phone. Personally I do not notice it and do not mind it at all. I would highly recommend getting your iPhone customized by ColorWare. Everyone who has seen the pink iPhone now wants an iPhone. I am also tempted to get a Macbook Pro customized by them since their quality is excellent and looks like it was done at the Apple factory. You can view all of the pictures on flickr

I’ve been searching around the Web for about an hour looking for news of an “official” Apple release of a pink iPhone. So far, I haven’t found too much more than rumor and speculation.
This blog post showed up pretty high when I Googled “pink iphone” so I figured I’d leave a comment letting other people searching for them in on my findings thus far.
So far, all I’ve found is basically rumor and speculation other than a couple of notable exceptions:
The first is the company that your blog post talks about, ColorWare. Like you said in your post they actually for you (more pics under that link). The one on your blog looks great. The one portrayed in the link I posted looks just “pretty good” to me. Definitely not bad or anything. It’s certainly different but that particular paint scheme is a bit gaudy for me (which is odd coming from someone looking for a pink iphone in the first place, I know! Haha).
Something else I found that looks really promising for people like me that would prefer that Apple release a pink iPhone is a website that is apparently about nothing else but pinkiphone.net. So while it got my hopes up, it doesn’t give many details about release dates, availability, etc. I guess I’ll just keep checking back from time to time to see if any more details are posted.
I’ll definitely keep checking back to this site as well, as it’s my guess that with a website title like “LimitedEditioniPhone.com” you would be one of the first to know of any new changes being announced (or even rumored).

Hi there colourware, why you reply to half the idiots who are asking all the same questions, even the idiots that seem cheeky, all I’m asking as a brit, a fellow allied, the great country just across the pond that was the empire of the world and where most of your heritage came from, how if possible, because it is unclear on the colourware website how to get a custom iphone or if it is not possible, do you know of anyone that does, I appreciate any help that you can bring my way, thank you.
You can NO LONGER purchase a pink iPhone directly from ColorWare. They will only paint an iPhone pink that you send them. please send me an email if you would like me to purchase an iPhone to give to them to color pink.
