TMO’s Apple Finance Board has been tracking IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) numbers for the iPhone 3G. This spreadsheet shows that almost 10 million iPhone 3Gs have been produced.

I rember a few years ago when the Razr came out. I was one of the first people to get it. Later it seemed that everyone I knew and everyone on the streets had a Razr. Will the iPhone be the same way? Can it take over the cell phone market being priced at $199? Only time will tell, but it looks like the iPhone is on the rise.
